2 Storey was the only choice, as site is an odd shape and most single storey house designs which fitted, had the bedrooms at the back which would affect our passive solar gains as rear is Nth. facing. Therefore my criteria for design was a Double Bedroom downstairs with a full ensuite and WIR and upstairs had to have a large kids play area. Meals/Living/Alfresco to be at rear. Carlisle, Dennis Family & NBG had the designs we preferred. Carlisle wouldn't build in our area and Dennis Family didn't allow the flexability of design and client input that NBG offered.
We originally looked at the Buckingham 360E Deluxe, but the Ensuites in all bedrooms, in our opinion, was an overkill and the floorplan on our site was a little tight, which meant we could not have eaves.
The Buckingham 320E was the logical choice.
